These Terms of Service govern participation in SwimLens clinics and use of SwimLens services.
Scope of Service
SwimLens provides video-based stroke analysis intended to help swimmers and families better understand what is visible in swimming footage.
SwimLens:
- does not provide coaching instruction
- does not prescribe drills or training plans
- does not recommend changes to a swimmer’s training
All coaching decisions remain the responsibility of the swimmer’s coach.
Eligibility
- Participants must be USA Swimming–registered athletes in good standing.
- SwimLens sessions are open to swimmers of all ages, though the service is generally most appropriate for swimmers ages 10–16.
- Participation does not require membership in the host club unless the session is designated as club-only.
Clinics & Hosting
SwimLens services are delivered through sanctioned clinics hosted by swim clubs. Host clubs provide pool access and oversight to ensure compliance with USA Swimming and LSC requirements.
Assumption of Risk
Swimming is an inherently physical activity. By participating in a SwimLens clinic, swimmers and parents acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with swimming and aquatic facilities.
Payments
- Payments are collected at the time of booking.
- Payments are processed through Stripe unless otherwise explicitly arranged in advance on a case-by-case basis.
- SwimLens does not guarantee session availability until payment is received.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SwimLens LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in SwimLens clinics.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
